On Monday, 2 February 2026, the Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Mr. Abdelkader Djellali, took part in the ceremony marking the arrival and unloading of the first shipments of iron ore extracted from the Gara Djebilet mine. The event was overseen by the Prime Minister, Mr. Saïfi Ghrib, at the Tosyali iron and steel complex in Oran, and was attended by a significant ministerial delegation.
